Tonight on Lifetime, Hayden Panatierre stars in the made-for-tv movie Amanda Knox: Murder Trial In Italy. I don't know about this. I don't know enough about the case to render an opinion one way or another as to the guilt or innocence of "Foxy Knoxy", but I don't really think its the best idea in the world to be making docu-dramas about unresolved, on-going court cases.

The Knox family isn't happy about it either, which tells me the story is probably either too balanced, or too skewed in favor of Knox's prosecution.

I will say this much though. If this had happened here, there's a pretty good chance Knox would never be put on trial, or that any conviction of her would be thrown out on appeal. Bear in mind, as this has happened in Italy, the burden of proof lays not on the prosecution, but on the accused, That's just the way things work there, and in fact almost everywhere but here, just another example of how the US is light years ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to citizens rights, as a general rule.

In any event, below is a clip from the movie.
